Overview

The Preventa XCS Safety Interlock Switch is designed to protect personnel by ensuring doors, gates and guards are closed before a process can start up. It minimizes potential accidents by removing the actuating key from the switch and sending a stop signal to the safety circuit when the guard or gate is open.
Available in a wide variety of body styles, contact arrangements and operators, XCS safety interlock switches can be used in a broad range of safety system applications and a variety of product confi gurations. Simple to install and confi gure, XCS safety interlocks feature metal or plastic bodies and can be used with an assortment of actuating keys to make the switch suitable for a variety of safety applications that are compliant with both domestic and international standards.
